for sure, i almost drive my 8 every time when i hv a date or any important event

but its so annoying to daily drive my 8 since the 8 is kinda low, and i am tired of taking angle to get in plaza and parking lot to avoid scratching my bumper

Sidus, your car looks very good. Also GTI is ok, but those wheels look bad. The previous ones were way better (the 18 Monzas)

i love the color scheme on the 8, the cf and white looks sick...id personally get the cf side view mirror covers and id smoke the tail lights...the oem look on the lights stick out so much...but other than that the car looks awsome

the gti is nice aswell, i wouldnt mind a gti daily driver...chip it and be done.

The car looks good man. BTW, I would blur out your license plate numbers too.

You don't know what kind of people are roaming these forums.

Yes, we have you on file now. Be aware!

I joke and never really understood why people do this unless they have something to hide...hmmmm.

Okay, let me take my criminal mind on a little walk.

Let's say I'm a car thief and I see this guy's car on the internet and he has some really nice aftermarket parts on his car. You know he lives in an apartment/condo complex and probably doesn't have it garaged. Now you have his license plate number. Now you can get his address if you have some connections. Not really hard to do if you know the right people.

Please explain.

It is to my understanding that the RX-8 is faster than the GTI with both in stock trim. Your GTI is only tinted. The 8 is benefiting from lighter rims and upgraded suspension even though it gets some lbs. back from audio equipment.

your Rx-8 looks very good. in fact. it's got me thinking thoughts about mine that i never had before. i like that nose and the CF hood and trunk. i had already decided to go with a CF hood, but the trunk looks pretty nice, too. say, where'd you buy the wheel lugs?

anyway, i love Dubs, too, so i like your GTI (even though i'm more of a Mk1 man, myself).

i was comparing them based on straight line acceleration (by my butt dyno)
may be it is due to the DSG...i dunno, but its how it feel....
of course with the tein suspenion, my 8 will out run the GTI in every corner....

Honestly that's what it is. You feel that torque for the GTI. But it's not faster. Not stock anyways. It could be with just a few mods though.

Anyways, they are both nice. And yes, you need to take off your traction control. Drop the clutch at 4500 rpm and get back to me. Don't let the smoothness of the rotary deceive you. It's quick. It's not the fastest car in the world. But, it holds its own.
