Sweet! So finally Abel has his dragster working! This is wonderful. I've seen him race when his was running with rx-7. Wonderful news bro!

Yup, I should add that he will be doing some launch testing at the 1/8th mile in Irwindale, CA on Thurs 5/10 and then planning on 1/4 mile racing the following weekend in Fontana, CA. It would be great if lots of rotary fanatics would come out to support him.

I couldn't believe it when he first contacted me, but it came down to wastegate issues that has kept him from racing competitively for the last 2 years.

 

I know, but it was 11pm and we're car guys not Hollywood and you wouldn't fire it up indoors.

 

Until the exhaust lites up

 

I would love to go out support for him, but I live in Texas it sucks. Where are the results going to be posted of his test run?

Yea, I saw him fire it up at Sevenstock a couple of years ago. It blew massive amounts of air out that exhaust. **** was flying everywhere in the courtyard. LOL

 

I called him after seeing this thread. Hopefully he'll get more video footage testing tomorrow. I told him the fans are hungry for this type stuff; FEED THEM
