Interior Picture

Is it just the reflection from the flash? Why does it seem like the back of the driver seat is gray, the leather is charcoal and the inserts are red. Why couldn't they have gotten the seatbacks to match the leather better?

Since they already seem to photoshop all thier pictures, you think they would have touched that up.

 

I think what you are seeing isn't so much the color of a new fabric, rather it is the glare off of some black plastic that the chairs are covered in. I might be wrong, but this is what I think it is.

 

I think that it's nice to have the seatbacks a slightly different contrasting color than the seat facings. For instance, black/silver, red/ black etc. To me, that breaks up the interior a little and keeps it from becoming monotenous and bland. Notice the seats facings/ seatback colors of the Z. I believe Nissan did that to break up the boringness and to keep the eye interested. One thing that I don't care about are the colored inserts, IMO they look trendy and out of place, but someone else may love them...differenct strokes for different folks. I just can't wait until my silver RX-8 with red leather is in my garage.
