Polishing is not hard work just very time consuming.

20k? You must be crazy or know someone that is charging you about $1 an hr for labor.... To replicate Angels setup, with out the money spent on R&D. You will be probably north of 30k. Especially if you are having a reliable shop fabricate everything. Labor is easy 50% of the actual cost.

If you have the tools, and know how to weld. Then it would be closer to 20k. But most people don't have the skills to fab their own exhaust/intercooler and subframe.

Sure, why would anybody be afraid of installing a 20B in the RX8? As easy as doing an oil change
