The 2011 RX-8 Calendar!!! Spread the word!

Alright guys,

Here is the final draft.
I apologize for such a lengthy wait. I was busy with all the Xmas stuff.

I want to thank everyone who participated in the original threads.
This is a start to what may become an annual thing.

As you can see, I've included a low res version to show you what the calendar is going to look like.
Measurement is 12x18.

It is going to be very high quality, so we've set the price to $30US + shipping.
If you get more than 1, it'll be $5 off the extra orders. So if you order 3, it'll be $30+$25+$25.

Payment will be through Paypal.

I'd like to see a minimum of 10 orders so we can send them to print.
If we don't reach the minimum, people will get their money back, no questions asked.

If you're interested, PM me how many you want and your location so I can give you a quote for shipping.

Lets see a show of hands.

interesting mix of cars in the calendar, thanks for sharing.

Questions:
how come Newcastle's car is reversed in the pic making it look RHD?
who is Apeture Design photography?

We were fooling around with the poses of the cars throughout the entire calendar.
Apeture Design is the company providing this. Which is to say, me.

No street sign in Newcastle's pic.

oh what the HELL, Nuke's pic is flipped also???? uhhh, those reversed numbers on the building really look...ummm....bad.

Sorry, not hating but if this is the Final version then it's a bit concerning that those details were overlooked or left to be.

Final draft.
I put it up to give you a final look to it. So we reversed a few things on purpose, we left license plates exposed, cars look RHD.
You know, security purposes.

Pics will be the proper side and no license plates will be reveled.

Now quit your complaining and order one already! Christ!

Looking good.

The back should read, "Calendar design created by...." and not include "photography" in it since many photos were taken by other professionals.

Yeah, I was disappointed with the yellow selections as well... But with the limited time, people did the best they could.

There's always next year.

So far, 2 confirmed orders.

I'm hoping to set the deadline for the 17th the latest. Ideally I'd like to get this out by next week.

Any idea why it is showing a blank page when I click the pdf?

I would have bought the first draft you posted, so I have a good feeling I'll want to buy this one but i will have to find a way to look at it first ha. Maybe the attachment will work right on my computer at work tomorrow....

Im glad to see my car still made the cut . Put me down for 1 for now Ill put it through paypal within the next couple of days. Good job

Also can you list whose cars were in the pictures? Like put our names in a small font? maybe its a bad idea I was just curious, and by no means is it required, I will be ordering one regardless.

Edit:

Neo I hope you dont mind but I posted up a link to other rotary websites such as Rotary4life.com and rx8web.com to help gain interest, im sure that will help attract some attention on your good work, just trying to help you out.

Looks good. Not sure how you are flipping the pages but if it is a top sprial then maybe you should center the calendar in the dark half. If it is a center sprial then the dark half is not the same size on all and will cause problems.

Looks great, but what happened to my other pic, #7 that everyone voted for to be on the cover over the one that is on there now?

WTBRotary,

Thanks again for the comments. And a special thank you for linking it to other sites.
If you can, send me a PM so I can keep track of everyone's request.

Nopstnz8,

The other pic is an exact shot of the one that's in the calendar, only the colours are different (untouched/retouched photoshot?).
So after fooling around with a few of them, we decided to leave the one that's on their now.
Either way, its still the same shot.
(I hope #7 is the one you're talking about)

4 confirmed orders so far. 6 to go to get a confirmed print job!
