All carbon fiber products have clear coat like normal paint. If you don't take care of it like your paint, it will fade or crack. Also I dont think there is any company out there have warranty over 3 months on this. If you ever get your car painted again. Just have the bodyshop put another layer of clear coat. That will take care of it. But I suggest any one have carbon stuff should wax it same time as you wax your car.
