If you want some cheap entertainment go to your dealership and ask them to pull up the price per seat for ya,,, sit back and take a pic of thier draw drop to the ground....
The seats are the Recaro Sportster CS but re-upholstered to integreate the air bags,,, and that my friend is what makes them astonomically expensive...
The Audi RS6 and RS4 also have the same but in leather,,,,
And how much could this seat cost you say,, surely not that much the Sportster CS is only $1200 and is Recaros premier street seat,,,,,,,,,so how mcuh does an integrated airbag cost ,,,,, $6000and yes thats per seat...

Yeah but since its a massly produced setup Mazda can probably get them at cost which, I assume arround $2k each, maybe even cheaper...

pretty soon in the future the r3 seats will cost more than half the cars value... or maybe the seats will boost up the resale value of the r3. this makes me want to get an r3! anyone with an r3 wants to trade cars? lol
