2005 Pearl White Greddy Turbo RX-8 GT *pics*
I bought this car 2weeks ago. It had 19,600km (12,180 miles).
He had the turbo kit installed and drove it for only a few hundred killometers before he was forced to sell the car due to the loss of his job.
It also has a Spec Stage 3+ clutch and flywheel and Greddy SP2 exhaust.

I am gonna keep the stock look and only spend money on performance goodies.
It's the older Greddy kit (he bought the kit WAY before he was ready to install) so I need to buy the emanage upgrade kit but it's currently on back order.
I also need to install a blow-off valve ASAP.

yeah...
1. replace the hoses, the ones on there are prone to ripping. You don't want to be driving around with a ripped coupler that's sucking in dirt directly to your engine.
2. Make sure you have fix #2 done (See Greddy definitive fixes thread).
3. If you're buying a BOV, make sure to check this out before purchasing: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/review-synchronic-blow-off-valve-bov-without-diaphrams-122513/ It's only $200 and worth every penny.
4. I would also recommend replacing the foam filter with a K&N or something else. Something about that foam filter didn't inspire my confidence.

Thanks for the tips.
I pretty much had all of them on my "to-do list". Where can I get all the coupler's? I am not exactly sure what I need. Is there a kit for this?
Quick question for ya.
Would I be able to install a Greddy Type RS BOV (vented to atmosphere) with the emanage blue or do I have to wait for the emanage ultimate upgrade kit?

Once you get all the fixes taken care of, any plans to dyno it?

I was told the car would bog if I get a BOV that vents to the atmosphere.
I have the money in hand to do the Emanage Ultimate upgrade but they are on back order with no time frame on when they will be available.

I have read his posts in the past while searching for other info.
Smart people are great but once that "knowledge" makes them feel more superior and they start treating newbs with disrespect they wont get any respect from me.
