Read above post. It's coming off. Too much "fart" in the can.

Very cool. I'd much rather have that than a old muscle car. It should be emission exempt in CA too

It'd be awesome to own one of those... Not even sure where I'd start if I was looking for one of those.

^That's the trunk key hole cover. It swings open. Also notice the rotary shape in the front emblem.

beautiful RX-4! hate the wheels and the fart can. nothing nostalgic about a muffler like that. glad to hear that its coming off though. i also love how the brake master cylinder is parrallel with the firewall. neat retro stuff! at any rate, love the spark yellow 79 with the 83 LE wheels!! your friend has great taste!!

Thanks. Yes, the LE was the donor car of many parts. Sadly it is not in any restorability condition. I should have taken a pic of it. Poor thing rusting away in the yard.

thats sad..i've restored a lot of RX-7's that would be soup cans by now, lol. personally i would've found a way to save the LE. only because its the 7 thats always eluded me. i've always wanted one, just never found the right deal or location.

Very sad indeed, but trust me when I say 85% of the car is rust. The hood full of holes, floorboard gone, firewall gone, wheel wells gone, and so much more. A sad sight to see for sure.
