I'm sure it has something to do with putting tens of thousands of dollars into the car, gutting it entirely, and having an entire team of people dedicated to working on it.

Sometimes its pointless even asking a question on here, you won't get a serious answer that's anything to do with the question, but instead, some smarty pants trying to get a giggle out of a fellow club member, hoping his reply deems him a contender for the internet's "I used all my brain cells to try and make an amusing troll like sarcastic, yet worthless response to an internet thread" badge.

Anyway, I'm not asking pie-in-the-sky questions to wannabe boosters out there, this is a serious view that I'm sure many other 10psi+ boosters out there share when they have to take their engine apart for an investigation on what went wrong at around 300+whp, and those that feel like their pushing the engines to their limits when their at @430-500WHP, with every off the shelf mod available installed..

And besides, if you don't know the team, or any details on what their doing for power, then your post was irrelevant, as I asked what their doing different in regards to the past 20 years of rotary boosting. And just in-case your confused on the matter, my question was concerned with the power they are making, not the 1/4 mile times they are setting with their stripped out chassis.

Thank you!

The question still stands (hopefully without an irrelevant post): how do you make 1,400 hp from a rotary when the local knowledge base around here creates hand grenade motors at 400hp? Do the math on this car's runs, and it has to make that level of hp to put down 217 mph runs.

The old BMW Formula 1 4 cylinders were reported to make 1,000+ hp in qualifying trim, but they were running absolutely enormous boost and the heads were welded to the block. You can't do that with a rotary...

Problem with unicorn blood is that you're then cursed to live a half life, soulless, and defunct of mortality.
