wow! Its rx8s like this that give me motivation! haha. Im glad more and more RX8s like this are emerging, I remember when I first got mine, there werent too many modded RX8s at all! Looks good, regardless of anyones opinion on your arrows and straps, screw it, its your Rx8 and I think it looks badass enough that im not even going to nitpick at the little things that arent "my style" haha.

i think you have too much going on and its a little over the top for my taste.
but to each his own.. good job.
Definately get some sideskirts and a rear bumper to finsh it off.
pictures of the seats.
you have leather so id like to see how the fitment is

it wasn't hard at all, it took me probably about 3 hours to do total. it was pretty simple, i just cut a piece of plywood to roughly the shape of the opening to the trunk and drilled a few holes in it. i zip tied it to the cross beam running diagonal behind the seatback. cut a piece of felt to the size of the seatback and sprayed headliner adhesive on the wood and stuck the felt on. idid the same for the bottom seatpan, and then again for the bottom half of the c pillar. ill get some pics up today. the felt cost 20 bucks, i got 5 yards but i didn't need more than 4 i think. i have alot left. the wood i had laying around, but it shouldnt cost much.

not bad at all, i mean it's loud but if you have a stock exhaust it's not going to bother you at all. if it does, put some housing insulation or dynamat on the back of the boards, that should kill any additional sound.

here are a few interior shots i took today. i'll be re-doing the carpet in the spring and making it a bit neater, but you get an idea of how it worked.

the radio mounted to the glove box is a vhf, i have all the dispatch/operations/hospital/police stations programmed in. the box on the dash with the mic is a siren/pa system.
yeah, i track the car. i wouldn't spend that much $$ just for the...well, inconvenience of it. if i lose something under or behind a front seat, my 6'3" *** is NOT gonna be able to find it or crawl back there with that rollbar in the way hahaha. my daily driver is in the backround, 03.5 'speed Protege.
the seats are damn comfortable, i love the way they feel. most comfy seats ive ever been in.

ah, good, good to know it actually sees track time, I would hate to see all that work done to track prep a car that was never gonna see it put to use. also good to know the lights are functional I guess, weird placement, and I bet people think you are bullshitting them. but at least they have a legit purpose.

i drive it more often than you probably think, when i first got it i only drove it on weekends. basically, now i drive the 8 everywhere except work just to save money on gas and not beat the car up on the interstate in rush hour.
i put the lights there so they would be the most visible, while still not sticking out too much. and i was dead set against drilling to mount them, so i had to find somewhere i could use molding tape.

yep, sure do. it's a joke between me and a few friends that all have rwd. this is my first rwd after 4 fwd cars, so when i got it they started busting my *** about being a "new driver" because only rwd is considered a 'real' car to them. also i guess its kind of fitting, i'd never had my car out auto x before this summer.
