***Tuckin Rim***w/PiX
Just kidding...i was pulling up on my driveway, got out of my car...and i was like...daaaaam..thats sick...so i thought i'd take some pix of it...It goes to show that the 8 can tuck rim with out any problems...
Would there be anyway in order to have your 8 run light that where it's "tuckin rim" That's the kind of look I would want to get, but I have never seen anyone actually do it. Right now I have Tein S-Tech springs and I thought maybe if I got 19 or 20" wheels it'd make it "tuck" a little, but I don't know. Would really like to pull off that affect.
wow... that looks awesome :D it'd look much better with bigger wheels :p
depends on how low your tein springs are. i have the rear lowered 2.75" and with 20" the rear tyres are tucked inside the guard about 1/3 tyre profile

you GUYS ... 8 was made to handle the curves when you lower it that much ... that is it .. you have lost one thing that makes 8 a great car .. go for stiffer suspention. I love the look of it but i like to rub it in ppl's faces that i can take rams going 65-70 MPH.. don't you?

yep,you know if you kept the bags pretty full it might still handle ok, and it would ride like a caddy! :D I'd love to see someone slam the **** out of their 8 just to see how it looks, probably would look awesome, especially if they therw on some 19" Volks or something to hide the fact they're bagged.

Cool pics. I have my car adjusted almost that low on my JIC coilovers. I'm tucking the stock tires in the front and back and have been driving it like that for over a year now and the ride is smooth. I also have a truck on bags on the side. Whats funny is that I have never gotten a ticket with my truck after having it for about 6 years. I already got a total of 6 tickets within a 6 month period with my 8.
The cops around here don't like the import car crowd. I got tickets for illegal tint and for modifying my ride without a legal permit. If I was to get pulled over in my truck I would get a **** load of tickets.

I take it youve riden in an 8 with the Hipermax RS. I was gonna go with the same ones you have but now its a toss up between the IIs and RS. Whats your opinion between the two.

I have the HIPERMAX II's. A buddy of mine has the RS'. The RS was specifically designed for harsh roads . For example: If the roads that you live by are bumpy the RS's will benefit you more. You will get more of a softer ride than compared to the II's. Not saying that the II's are really stiff but I guess you can say the RS's were designed more towards U.S. street driving. I have my dampers set at 24 (30 being the softest), this could compare to the RS's being set somewhere around 10. Hope that helps
