Yes and no...it atleast puts the Rx-8 in a future sports car buyers mind, especially the consumer that takes mag reviews and internet reviews as gospel.
Boss is like that, anything that is the latest and greatest he has to have , even if others have told him its junk, .....in his eyes if its new, it has to be good.

The RX-8 is far from the "latest and greatest" category though. It's been out for quite awhile so it's no longer hot fashion to buy one.

cool, we made another "top Xyz" list! Don't care how they came to their decision, just always fun to be mentioned (in a good way)

Just the fact that the 8 is mentioned , meens somebody notices a good sports car.
My cousin is strictly a Z guy, he never understood why i switched from Z cars and decided to try out a Rotary, until he drove mine ......

He even agrees that his 350Z is good, but he loves the 8 because it just feels "like a true sports car". The way it goes, handle, the total package on wheels. I think many people are starting to see and understand that about the 8.

Yes, well who knows—maybe in the US, at least, the 8 is like "Seinfeld": slow out of the gate—survival questioned—only to become popular later as people discovered it gradually over time.

Yeah it takes a while..

I have a mate who recently traded his Z for an 8.....
I asked him what he thinks of his new 8 compared to the Z....
