Well I find a lot of my friends would get an 8 but they always say they don't want to get one cuz I already have one. So now one of my friends is looking at a G35coupe cuz she wants 4 seats.

 

I wouldn't call this car rare. They did sell quite a large number of them in 2004. Actually they overproduced them in 2004. So anyone know the total amount of RX8's sold in US since beginning? I remember in 2004 when I got mine, dealerships were loaded with them, then in 2005 there were still so many 04 leftovers they started selling them off massively for like $8000 off MSRP. Where did all those people that bought 04s in the summer of 2005 go?

There are also over 2000 used RX8's for sale nationwide on autotrader alone. That's one of the big reasons why you don't see them very often. It's not that they are rare, it's that they aren't daily drivers for many, and also there's a lot of orphan RX8s not on the road waiting for a home. Lots of them are sitting waiting for an owner.
