RX-8 to hold value

Yeah. It will all come down to supply and demand. Reliability will have a lot do with that as well. If this car turns out to be a long lasting, reliable, low maintanence car that people want to own new and used the value will stay respectable. If they continue to make it for a long time, and the demand does not meet production, it will plummet regardless of reliability, but should not be too bad. If they stop making it, and it ends up unreliable, it will follow the path of the FD, but not as much because it's not easily moddable. Time will tell, but the car is massively produced, and if it succeeds, value will go down more then initially anticipted due to the massive quantity and better models being produced. This is probably why mazda will not be too quick to make this car better and more powerful, because they need to start this car from beginning, and let it take a good 3 to 4 years before you see a remarkablly better verison. At this time, this is one of the hardest cars to sell used, and get anywhere near it's value. The new ones are simply selling very cheap. the market is very low for this car new or used, so it will need to be a sought after preowned car to be able to keep it's value. We'll just have to wait and see, because we really don't know what the future holds for this car.

All I have got to say is, when Clinton lied, nobody got killed.

Not bad; better choice than a completely inexperienced team who've never been in charge of anything even remotely close to the responsibilities the President has to take on his shoulders.

2010 Prius - Miss the 8
I agree with RX8-TX. Just look at the price of the Hachi-Roku 86 Toyota... Price nearly went up 6 folds when Initial D came out. I saw one for sale recently on Ebay for $8k.. with 120k miles on it. Uhhh it's an 86.. come on. Demand Demand Demand.
It WAS as low as 1500 a few years ago... now it's all private dealers marking them up.
I'm still waiting for a low mileage 95 RX-7 for sale... :P Limited numbers.. demand demand demand.
