We have a Federal Election here this Saturday, to elect a Federal Government and Prime Minister...like your President.

I am sick to death hearing about a Carbon Tax, ETS, Co2, Cars, Power Plants, Coal...Blah Blah Blah..

IT IS ALL BULLSHIT...3 years ago the Labor Government was going ahead with a Carbon Tax, the people revolted..Copenhagen Failed...went on the back burner, now we have an election it is here again, the GREENIES want one, many do not..

A carbon tax will increase the price of EVERYTHING, and by what amount 10%, 20% ???

We are going down Europe's road of so much CO2 per kilometer...per car rating system, with a TAX!!

Climate Change!!...GRRRR

There is no scam about it ... it is all true, we want to ignore it - because it is easier.
The problem is that Americans are too shallow to think past tomorrow and their wallet.... and about 10 years behind in technology pertaining environment and sustainability compared to rest of the world.

You now complain about taxes on carbon, in few mounth you will complane about high prices on food (pertaining grain, corn)..... Europe experiencing biggest drought ever known...eastern Europe (main supplier of grain) hardly have enough for them selfs -- so now US, Canada will sell theirs and you will see big spikes in prices for foods that contain grain.

So i guess now there will be ignorant people complaining that our government should be more social and outlaw grain sales to Europe just like Russia did (2nd biggest supplier) .

 

Russia ONLY outlawed sales of Wheat/Barley to Europe because they have had a DROUGHT...No Rain...it happens ..and so the world price of Wheat has Spiked and yes it will flow on to everything, Bread, Cereal, Beer, etc, etc.

And a Tax on 'carbon' has proved to do nothing to reduce emissions as GROWTH (the little there is) wipes out any gains.

Back on topic..
