I need to read the last thread on this "Renegade Rotary", but isn't it disappointing that it's supercharged and still only has minimal impact on the hp? The article says they estimate it at 250 hp--not a huge leap from the 238 that the manuals now allegedly have.

I remember the original thread. still nice to see the article again. I've got that copy of speed. I haven't seen any issues of speed since then though. I think B&N aren't carrying it.
I love that front bumper/foglight setup.

The specs on the last page don't jive with the article, it seems to be a cut and paste of the R&T specs for the JDM Mazdaspeed RX-8 that was featured earlier in R&T's SPEED magazine.

Guess I should have read the article instead of letting my short attention span get the better of me. Oops :o Those numbers seem much more respectable, though I also understand draco's point and shouldn't jump the gun just looking at numbers on a screen.

I hope this car or something similar is produced. 275 HP and 200lbs of torque should feel good. My main issue with the current car now is the torque. I can live with the 238 hp but I just wish they could bump the torque way up. I wonder what the sticker on this car would look like. It kind of worries me, and the gas mileage...I hate to even think about that.
