I have often thought that orange would be a good color for our car. That one looks nice.

I always park like that. If ******' ******** would watch it when they opened their doors then people would not park like that.

I take up two spots at work too. People have complained but I'm the boss so what can I say?

 

If I catch someone parking on the line or taking up 2 spots and I'm driving my beater, I will just park an inch from them. Seriously, if you care about your car, just park further away. Don't be an *** and take up 1.5 spaces. Your car is not worth getting keyed for 2 parking spaces and it won't matter if you're the boss when that happens.

 

one of those STOMP commenters has a point: they're numbered spaces; maybe it's a residential complex, so who is to say that the owner didn't pay for both parking spots? I would, if it were my building.

I park far away and use wide spots or two spots or park at the end of the row or just avoid the place. The one time I parked in a small town parking lot some fu#&er in a big SUV nailed my door... I would rather **** off a few people than have ignorant idiots get anywhere near my car.

 

Yea but then you park really far away and some jerk decides to park right next to you. Its a no win situation unless you score one of those "4 points" spaces where your car is protected on both sides by "islands".

That is the ultimate way to not get a door ding. Haha. That is a pretty cool color, though.

It's actually the ultimate way to tempt people to **** with your car. People who have take up two spots when they park show a blatant disregard for other people and while I would never mess with someones car, I don't feel bad for them if someone else does.

 

Just an update, the parking slot is at a HDB carpark. (Meaning common area parking for residents nearby). Every car is entitled to one slot only.

If it was his own building, the driver would not have pissed off the public.
That is a selfish act of parking on the driver.

 

Maybe the driver had to use the crapper really badly

 

I find it that when you do that people get pissy and mess with your car. Personally I look for end spaces and always avoid Minivans and SUVs (odds are they have kids).

 

hmmm. I take up 1.5 spaces, but it's in the basement and the .5 is a space next to the wall in a corner no one would fit anyway.

The pic/forum is from singapore. You get a ticket there for eating on the train. You can't even chew gum in the streets. Very strict country. Pile up enuff minor infractions, go to jail and need to post bail.

That's why everyone is so mad in that forum. Very ****.

BTW the comments in that forum crack me up. Reminds me of "engrish" (google it for a good laugh).

 

Does anyone remember that picture of the dude who parked sideways across two spots and came back to find one of those Genie scissor lift things parked right next to him? He posted the pics to try and get sympathy and everyone called him a n00b for parking sideways. Ah, good times.

Does anyone have that pic by any chance?
