Same thing as what was posted here, just with a close-up of the rear end showing the bumper, exhaust and diffuser.

Pics? I didn't buy the magazine. If I did... well someone gave me an *old* scanner which only works with Windows 95 and 98 (maybe Me). Kinda a problem since I have win2k and winXP. So even if I bought it... the best I could do is try to take pics with my digital camera.

 

BTW... like the first post said... no FI or anything on this car guys. Just basically a new bodykit and the Mazdaspeed parts for the 8.

Obviously you don't race your RX8 (dunno why anybody wouldn't... old peeps I guess)... the Vettes are very tough competitors locally and nationally... since the C5Z06, the FD has had a falling out and tough battle... and I don't see the RX8 doing well if it gets modded beyond stock much as you'll be contending with the likes of M3s, EVO's and STIs. Tho I still have a serious soft spot for the 8 because its got finesse and I've always had a heart for an underdog, owning an FC and racing against $50g to $100+g cars makes you a better driver and respect a car with predictability and smoothness.

Where'd you guys get that info? I never said it was going to be released. I said the opposite and was hoping that Mazda will release it. According to the articles I read there are no official plans to release those as complete cars, but the parts are going to be sold (like others are now). However the magazine suspects that a full car release has been considered with them showing off fully setup cars at Tokyo Auto Salon.

In JDM there has been the Mazdaspeed RX-8 and Mazdaspeed RX-8 II. Both as pretty much the same... the MS bodykit, suspension, flywheel, and exhaust with a high flow cat and PCM retune. This just hasn't been released as a complete car in the US yet (but you can get all the parts).

in the US yes...although you can buy every single part from the MS RX-8 they sell in japan here as bolt ons

 

If they release this body kit, i hope we can still get the old one. I like parts of this one but parts of the old one too. I think i like the original bumper and sideskirts better.

 

Ummm no many mazdaspeed versions were made for the rx-7
