Holy hell. If I had a penny for everytime someone said some car looked or stole its design from the 8 I would rival Bill Gates in net worth.

Oh, and the Hyundai concept is sex

I can't help it that other people are stupid idiots. This car looks like the 8.

Neither can I. Here are some other cars that look or stole design from the RX8:

Those are just a few.

Yeah, but just because everyone else constantly cries wolf when there is no wolf doesn't mean there's not a wolf when I say so.

The Tiburon concept looks like the 8.

The cars you posted don't look like the 8. Those people who said that are wrong.

As are you ktnxbye.

As for the future 7 or replacement....don't expect anything from Mazda. They may suprise you, they may not. They are like Apple computers. You buy something and then the next day here is a better performer for the same dollar...or cheaper.

I thought that the RX-8 copied the current generation Tiburon?

The only way I can see them building a new 7 is if it's either pretty darn expensive (+$50k range) or they kill the 8. That expensive of a car doesn't fill well with mazda's current image and a lower priced version would compete to much with the 8 and the mx-5.

Your logic has a few scripting errors. Mazda has learned their lesson with overpricing cars (uh FD anyone). You think they can sell something for 50k? They do not have brand recognition and no one in their mind would buy something like that. ESPECIALLY a rotary powered car! And IF (big if) they did, it better be able to compete against Porsche, Z06, and other cars that are priced higher.

Mazda already has the materials, the platform, the engine, and the plant. All they need is for the bean counters to turn the green light on and the car will not be in the 50k range at all.

tirminyl,
Re-read his post. He said exactly what you said.
