The article title confuses me a bit. "Rotary Redo"? I thought it was just the natural next step in the engine, making it better. It's like saying the new Mustang engine is a "mustang engine redo"...doesn't make sense.

Emission is one of the biggest problem. They gotta think long term. the current Rx-8 is out of the Euro zone cuz of emission.
Plus releasing a sports car now, for a mid size auto company like Mazda, equals pure suicide. especially now they don't have Ford to back them up.
They simply don't have enough dough to release a toy like this, at least not now. So they gotta be real careful of what they're doing.
