Thats good enough. I don't think anyone on here seriously expects Mazda to put DI or etc on the updated Renesis.

It would be nice if the changes made to the engine for the 09 MY can be applied to the current 04 through 08 models. If it is supposed to fix certain issues, they should fix the issues for all of us...

Nothing to base it on, but I'm going to take a stab at the possible changes. Based on Mazda's literature, I think we might see a retuning of the powerband for more low end torque and improvements to the sealing to better counter wear.

LOL, actually if I'm not mistaken people thought the 1.5/2.0 meant displacement when in fact you were referring to version number. I made that initial mistake myself. Either way it was an awsome post.

It made me feel all warm and skuishy inside!

I think I may have figured out what Mazda is covering up on the back of the front fenders in those camo photos...

Below are a few promo images released for the Tokyo Auto Show, look for the family resemblance.

nice lol. While (from past experience here) that most likely isnt the case... we can still dream... and there's always a chance that mazda could have kept a secret that might let that dream come true.

That's a very logical new design leap you have there.... makes way to much sense though. Therefore it just can't be correct!! Does make you wonder however... does Mazda want all their cars to look nearly the same from the front?

A Supercharged Rotory. Yes. S/C. Along with a better oiling system to help them apex seals last longer, the S/C (he was told) puts out 6psi AT IDLE.

Should debut in the 2009 or 2010 MAZDASPEED RX-8."
