Agree with you there, the detail is amazing. Cut out of a few of the pics, sorry got a little excited. If you look through all the pics they even brought out the 792P and the MX-R01.

Do you think the fog lights on this so called new RX-8 pic are too close to the headlights by about 3-4 inches.
When you look at all other Mazda models including the new 6 the fogs are a lot closer to the tar.
The new 6 also has that chrome molding running across the entire front.

A nice quote from the Mercury Press.
"This astonishing concept car is ready to race at Le Mans. To prove it, the only Japanese manufacturer to ever have won the 24-hour race took our correspondent for some scary fast spins around the legendary Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
It´s not often that you get 2 g’s in a concept car. Isaac Hernández lived to tell us about it, and to take the pics."

Indeed...
I need more cooling...especially later on, after adding FI...tracking in Texas summers is going to require beefing up the entire cooling system...logically adding some venting should help things along.
Except...the only ones readily available do not really appeal to me...too "over the top" or "trying too hard to be cool"...etc...etc...
Not really a huge fan of most of the CF hoods either...I would probably get it painted...but then thats kind of an expensive solution, when the cheaper solution would be to vent the stock hood.
Since I'm a function over form person...I've been pondering just where to punch the holes, what type of vents I could use...etc...etc. Not wanting to rush into things, its been milling in the back of my head.
Recently ran across a thread with similar ideas which had a link to the s2k forum where some fellow posted a DIY on his own hood...
After seeing that mesh...the circle of thought is complete...I need to find me some rotor shaped mesh somehow...it just makes rotard-sense...

the first one is the kanji for wind. the other one translated as "the rattling of the wind". when I looked it up the "rai" part (second kanji) it only fit in 3 words which were the sound of wind through trees, blowing instruments and the sound of wind... so my best guess is the sound of wind lol... there's not a complete direct translation that I could find
