Best Motoring ENDURO TEST
Rx8 is dead last as usual, but what I found interesting is the brake and tire temp after a 20lap race....Its really close to S2000 and I think its a good thing.
Before you said BM is biased and / or driver sucks, please note that the Rx8 driver was the 2004 winner in 24 hour Le Mans race driving an Audi R8
Enjoy!

sure the 8 is slow, as if we didn't know that. but the oil and water temps were amazingly stable. the 8 has dual oil coolers, i dunno about those other cars, but water temp? that's pretty good

That was very entertaining. I really enjoyed the cross section comparison. Very Fair.
Although I'm going to agree RX8URZ the RX8 is designed to be "Fun and enjoyable" with thin little drifting tires. I'm sorry guys... but even a little wider tires makes a HUGE difference for the RX8. The RX8 is designed to be a straight line car right? wrong! it's a balanced car designed for high speed corners. Going with the car's strength, you'll want more tire traction, large sway bars and new towers.
I use 265's and even with the little extra weight, on the track, the car makes up for it in the bends.
I wish Mazda gave the RX8 wider tires to start with.

Yup, I agree with those videos and their comments.
The Mazda Speed did remarkably well against the S2000 by beating it by a one second margin. That's pretty good!
What's in the Mazda speed version?
Doesn't it have light weight rims / Larger sway bars / Towerbars / coil overs /sports exhaust / CAI? (am I missing anything?)
That's a pretty big improvement over stock. Makes a difference for sure... I'd like to see more videos with Mazda speed. Best part is, there is still more areas to tweak for more performance!
