The Audi 2.0T did better than the RX-8 at the hands of the Stig though.

So two tests, one showing the 8 being faster and the other (C&D) showing the TT being faster...

Either way, the 8 was preferred in either, but that said, the new TT is leaps and bounds better than the old one.

In all likelihood, the 2.0T Top Gear test was the coupe which is lighter than the convertible model. So who knows how a coupe version might have done against the RX-8 in the Torque TV review.
