Any Place To Get Tuner Transformation Episode on RX8

Does anybody know of anywhere that I can get the Tuner Transformation episode where they fix up the RX8. It was the very first episode.

Usually when I watch their show they aren't too bad. I guess back then that was really the only type of substantial power adder (still is to a certain extent. I just want to see what they did with the nitrous unit, and the suspension. I'm not too into stickers (sorry Johnny B), but the other stuff they usually do a decent job with.

The 350Z episode wasn't too bad, but that is because they called in Mike from Altered Atmospheres down here near where I live.
They spent the whole budget on him and his ProCharger system.
More than 100 HP to the wheels.

That show really isn't that bad. I think they tried to tackle the RX8 too soon. I would like to see them do another 8 this time next year.

I really hate that show. Maybe the guys really know their stuff, it is hard to tell in a half hour. The thing that bugs me is when I watch it, I can almost hear the producers telling them to spice it up with some conflict. Johnny B, the bad boy, that guy is a joke....you are not Paul Sr. dude, stop trying so hard. I wish they would just talk techie talk instead of trying to make it a drama.

My friend had his 2002 Miata on the show. Walked away with over $13k worth of performance upgrades in his car. They wised up after the first few episodes by bring in people that have knowledge about the specific car they're doing. And on top of that if you say that you like the stock appearance of your car, and you hate stickers and decals... they won't do it.

At the start of the show they had high hopes. They said they wanted to put in:

An air intake.
new exhaust
brake kit with new calipers
ecu tuning
new +1 rims and wheels
body kit
etc...

it looks what they ended up with was:
new rims and wheels
new rotors and braided brake lines
nitrous
graphics

The nitrous added in the range of 30 hp over stock.

They did not even rerun the trial times after the changes - so no performance impact was shown.

I would like to see them try again in about a year. I'll bet they do not try a first year model again anytime soon.

I watched it last night just because it was a RX8.

For me, tuning into that show is like watching a train wreck. IMO they all seem like bumbling idiots. I wouldnt let them come near my car.

But then again I dont know jack **** about cars, so I may be wrong.

They've actually improved quite a bit from that first episode--since then their work has been pretty good.

^ your right, they have improved since the first episode. But, the RX8 episode isn't even worth watching except for the brake upgrade. Nitrious, I mean there wasn't much out on the market to be able to transform the 8 at the time of the show. Although, they should have waited and done something better than just nitrious. That decal was hidious, but that's just my taste. The body kit would have been cool to see them do. It would have gave everyone a better understanding on an install, not that you can't find answers on this board anyway.

Oh Overhaul is better but there aren't any imports on that show.
