I pre-orded mine a few weeks back in red. I can't wait for a transformer that matches my car color

The standard color is white, presumably because the Rx-8 is Jazz who was white originally. The red is a "limited" production color (presumably because Mazda likes how the Rx-8 looks in red) that you may have to pay extra for from shops if they manage to get it.

 

Ah. Actually, I've learned that the red version isn't limited after all. They've made it so that the white rx-8 is Jazz and the red rx-8 is a clone named "Zoom-Zoom". Looks like equal production numbers so you shouldn't have to pay extra.
