My favorite physical part of the car is the stainless steel strakes. Soooo hot.
My favorite part of the experience is the ride: Tight steering, excellent handling, comfortable suspension, and stability at high speeds. I mean HIGH speeds, like say... 140+

The suicide doors that let me put a boxed air conditioning unit or my bicycle into the passenger seat of a car that has the same exterior dimensions as a Porsche 911 and close the door! Second is the handling which is better than just about anything out there. Third is the price. It's an amazing car for what it costs.

Has to be the front. I love the way the hood fenders and bumper come together.

Actually, my favorite part of my RX-8 is how it pisses off the resident "Kool Kar Klub" in my town. They sit around at the car wash with their EVO's, Cobalt SS's, Tiburons, and Civics, and glare at me whenever I go by. Why? Because I don't have to park at a car wash for hours to get my car noticed.

I like how it takes a second or two for the HID lights to come on....I don't know why, but I think that is cool!
Actually, the HID lights are one of the reasons I bought the RX 8 and not a Mustang GT. That and about $5,000!

I see you promptly dropped your savings into mods for it. Good boy.

Is leaving yur car primed and unpainted still cool around anywhere else? Cause I swear it has got to be one of the STUPIDEST things I have EVER seen...and just about every ricer in the region has some part of their car that drives around like so!

I actually called a couple dealers today to inquire about leftover '05s since my girlfriend seemed she was finally ready to move on from her Altima (brought up getting a new car last weekend). But she came home when I was talking to some dealers and her frugal side is taking over and she's thinking she'll just drive the Altima into the ground. We're supposed to drive an '05 RX-8 and a couple VWs this weekend, but I have a feeling she's going to back out...

So with your vast knowledge of cars and knowing what you know about the 8, are you encouraging or discouraging her purchase of an 8? Or are you totally leaving it up to her to decide?
