When having sex with your girlfriend you fantasies about you rx8.

^ OK thats just wrong. Now if you where fantasizing about doing "it" in your 8 that would be cool. If only we had more leg room lol!

Yeah, even the new Miata (excuse me, the MX-5) has gotten as big as my '93 MX-6. Attribute this to americanization: Bigger to compete somewhat on the road with the monster SUV's and such, on the roads today, and also to keep up somewhat with the size of american asses. And they're (big ppl) still complaining about how it's too small. OK, end-of-rant.

Yup, I've got the batmobile comment too. I'd guess that you all have black too.

When your cars in service and you get a ride to work from a friend, and all the employees either think you crashed your car, or ask you 15 times where it is.

Just got my RX-8 on 12/31 and just joined here today. I LOVE my car.

Anyways, I tried to order one of the shirts, a large charcoal, and it wouldn't go through to checkout. Please tell me that the shirts have not run out and this is just some small bug that needs fixing? Feel free to reply here, IM or PM me if you know the answer.

Thanks!

Huh, thats weird. It doesn't work at all on my laptop, can't connect to paypal for some reason, but it worked on my desktop. Oh well. More bugs to troubleshoot. The important thing is that my order went through.

Thanks!

you spend way too much time and multiple attempts to find this thread again.

the passenger side floor mat shows signs of wear under the break pedal.

your wife tells you, "you love that car more than you love me" ...and you struggle with the reply.

you get giddy when you encounter a road sign that says, "crooked and steep next x miles"

back seat passengers tend to become car sick.

When people ask you "So what is that 'zoom zoom' all about? That song Mazda keeps using in their commercials?"

You open the door and gesture for them to hop in and you'd be happy to show them..

When the sun's in your eyes while driving, you put the sun visor down, and the sun's still in your eyes! What genius decided that putting holes in the sun visor makes sense?

When you have a 30 minute trip ahead and a 1/4 tank of gas and think, "Jeebus, I'd better get gas."

i dig this feature. it's perfect to look through with sun in eyes and sun glasses on.

It allows vision when full down but when tilted blocks light. The current Mercedes SLK has the same design.

"Allows vision when full down" is the same thing as saying "allows the sun to shine through when full down." That's not solving the problem of the sun in your eyes. The only time I need the sun visor is when the sun is very low, shining directly into my eyes (I'm tall, so that the sun normally isn't directly visible to me when driving). This sun visor is completely worthless in those circumstances. So, for me, it's always completely worthless.

I'm interested that some folks actually like it, and Mercedes has inflicted it on their customers. I hate it. Not as much as the horrible user interface for the nav system (I need to be hopelessly lost before it's worth spending ten minutes with the clunky interface to get unlost). To each his own, I guess.
