Recently, I have seen cops pull people over, including myself, for stupid reasons. You lights not being the proper color(stock slightly blue HID), tints look to dark, driving wrecklessly(when in reality you are avoiding pot holes the size of a kiddy pool) They need the revenue and do stupid ****. I've seen people get a parking ticket in the mail. Hmmmmm kinda fishy since they never got one on their car. I got pulled over for, and I quote, "Driving like an *******". I explained to the guy that I wouldn't have been swerving every 10 feet if the city fixed the pot holes that are 6 inches deep. Then I looked in my rear view mirror and noticed his headlight was out. Cops don't like it when you turn things on them . After I mentioned it, I got a 10 minute speech about driving safer and to avoid pot holes by signaling and switching lanes around them. Then he said Have a good night and left.

Looks kind of blue to me. What was the white balance setting on you camera?

The plate isn't very well illuminated. Does it look like that in real life, with only about the middle third or so lit up? If so, I'm surprised he didn't rag on you over that.

that's complete bullshit. i got blue corner lights but never been pulled over for it. i live in NY too man.. so i know what these ******* cops are like. i feel your pain

 

+1. Keep the box just to show that you bought white lights... and keep a piece of computer paper so he can hold it up and see that it's white, just the blue paint gives it a blue color.

 

Your tagged bro. I had never gotten pulled over back home. Got a night job and was pulled over 6 times in the course of a month for same style b.s. I finally just moved lol. All of mine were dropped till the last one so I packed up and moved.

 

The cop already held a paper up to it and said it had a blueish tint..I don't have the box, but I'm gonna print the second picture that's in my original post and the reciept from rx8strakes.com. That way if I get pulled again and get a ticket, when I go to court I'll have them two things to show the judge.

Hopefully moving to Tampa, FL. area soon.
