Talking Yeah Baby!!!!! Got my 8 today

Picked up my 8 today and I wish I hadn't promised to work the second half of the day.

Drives like a dream ........ I only had enough time to drive it 30min. then I had to come to work ......... But when I get off, I'm going to run it.

Pictures wil be coming soon!!!

Hell yea man, that's what I've got except it was born in 04...

You'll suddenly realize that the speed limit doesn't mean as much as it used to.

I will check them when I get off from work, can you be a little more specifific about whats not working. I'm a little unclear ....... I will do a search to see what I can find out, because this is the first I'm hearing about this.

Yes indeed ... when I get off from work I'm going to go home change and take a long late-night drive. Then I'm planning on taking a mid-day drive tomorrow.

I've been driving front-wheel drive for the last ten years, and I could feel the difference as soon as I drove off the lot. So I'm going to really run this car over the weekend.

Later Guys

I experienced it right out of the lot - my 8 is an 06' and evidently it's been going on since 04'

I'm not sure if it's across the board but my driver side visor looked like it was 'melted' from the inside out. More than a couple of 8 owners complained about the same thing - be sure to check out your visors look for any kind of loose assembly. There's a wire that connects to the vanity mirrors in there and if you're not careful it could short out your radio, instrument panel, cluster and your keyless entry. Be sure to check it when you can - it should be covered by warranty so no big deal - just kinda scary if you're on the road like i was when everything went out...

oh yeah, there's a thread somewhere in here if you wanna poke around for more info

Yeah be watchful of those visors for sure.

Also take a look at the lights with the trunk open aswell, make sure there's a little plastic black guard over the lights...And if it is there make sure there's no cracks or anything in it, if there are you'll more than likely become part of the water in the tail lights/spider in the tail lights club.
