For X-mas I gave my RX-8....
so my upgraded GReddy won't be installed until (fingers crossed) the week after xmas... but I am doing some other long over due gifting...
grilleguy gunmetal front screens
activating the fuel pressure gauge on my dual air vent pod
and recirculating my BOV
Was thinking a compression test too but that may be the kinda "gift" that fits elsewhere depending on results

Can't wait to see how that install turns out, make sure you do a build thread for the Overboosted Overlords thread.
always a great choice.

Well, now my RP kicked the bucket (again!) so it's time to finally get one on my car. I figure making a custom davesport / RP hybrid pipe is much cheaper then buying a whole new high flow cat unit / midpipe.
It'll go off to the welder in the next few weeks to get the RP cut out and have that welded in. It's a little tricky since the davesport is 'shorter' then the RP but I'm sure they'll figure it out.
I would think it should last quite a bit of time even with your turbo as long as your EGT's aren't ridiculously high or your fuel trims aren't all FUBAR'd.
Metra. They actually make one model of the metra kit for the 2009+ i think. When I got the kit it came with a single din setup but came with the pocket, a blank single din frame, and a double din frame. The instructions showed that you needed to cut out the center piece to make it a double din. I assume they are trying to keep it down to one model.

yeah, I'm curious to see how it performs / sounds.
Racing Beat Header + Davesport cat + Racing Beat exhaust.
I considered throwing a resonator on the pipe but where would the fun in THAT be. What midpipe did you have yours welded on?

I thought about throwing one of Ray's resonators on the pipe but I think I'm going with just the cat to see what that sounds like.
There's a chance I'm re-doing my exhaust setup next year so it's all up in the air for now.
your turbo probably quiets the exhaust down a bit but I'd be curious to hear the difference between one with a resonator and one without.
Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will be running a BHR pipe at the dyno meet.
that reminds me, I need a dB meter.
