Spark plugs and some redline tranny fluid. She got some new winter tires about a month ago, so couldn't go too crazy on go-fast bits.

Hey Jedi54. Not RB instead a custom setup with full led digital gauge setup similar to OEM speed. Can choose from around 10 colours at push of button. I'm tossing up between white as per speed or red like rest of dash.

The units are C and PSI for AUS. BTW this was 30C during a 60min shakedown. Pretty happy overall as it was all my own handywork.

This red is pretty close to the other dash lights. Still considering my options! Or rainbow 🌈 if you so desire! Leaning towards the clean white on black!!

I guess this could be considered Christmas gifts lol, I'm currently putting in a new Pettit stage 2 motor with supporting parts (Racing Beat oil lines, new hoses, clutch, etc) and a Seibon TS style hood is being delivered tomorrow.

This is what bought me to the forums (I've lurked but never joined until today): battery problems!

Not really a present as moreso a must do but a couple of weeks prior to Christmas I paid the only rotary specialist in my city an arm and a leg to service her. The VERY next day she just DIED while I was in traffic waiting for a green arrow.

Two weeks later (& 130kms away from home spending the holidays with my mum), I went to move her one day aaand she wouldn't start. Tried hooking her up to a trickle charger but not even the keyfob works. Off early tomorrow morning to the nearest town (currently at small beachside community) to buy her a new battery. I really hope that's all that's wrong as I've been away from my (currently) empty house longer than intended and have approximately 130kms drive home.

I always feed by RX-8 98 octane (top of unleaded here in Australia). Unfortunately I've yet to wash her but where I'm currently holidaying it's rained buckets so she's looking nice and clean.

So, for the holidays I had to pass my bi-annual mandated inspection, renew insurance and along the way alternator belt was dead and didn't know it so belts replaced, coolant overflow tank replaced with new oem one, changed oil and filter. Took it for a wash, weather is nice and sunny now, had some fun this past weekend and a new year's eve midnight run after the year changed. Streets were mostly empty due to omicron counter measures. Happy new year everybody, stay safe.

It'll be more like a New Year's gift, but a set of new tires.
