Wrecked 2005 RX8

I was out at the local wrecking yard and there is a 2005 Titanium Grey with 400 miles on it. Looks as if it was wrapped around a pole somehow. Still has the temporary tag in the back window. Must have turned the DSC off before learning how to drive this piece of art.

it looks like the car is a GS. not a GT.. so i dont think it had the DCS..cause over here..the GT cannot come in a cloth seat option.

It must have been one hell of a test drive – “And now I will demonstrate the side curtain air bags……”

DSC can't change the laws of physics. You go into a corner too hard and exceed the available grip of the tires and it does not matter how many electronic gizmos they put on the car, you are going to have troubles.

I like the electronic aids, but they can't work miracles. Every bad ice storm you see it on the news - cars with stability control and ABS totally out of control. Just no grip.

This could have been a test drive. A friend of mine bought a mazda SUV right after I bought my RX8 and he said the salesman was telling him how a young kid had taken an 8 for a test drive a week earlier and totalled it taking a corner. Maybe this is that car.

I think that's just common, there was a black 8 totalled at one of the dealerships I was shopping at.

He said the temp tag was in the back window - and it had 400 miles on it, so probably not a test drive.

Curiosity has gotten to me. I will have to go out there and check where the car was licensed at. Should have the dealership information on the tag.
