WOW something i didnt know about the 8

OK so I'm listening to my new Eminem CD and i noticed that i needed to get gas, so i pull in to the nearest gas station and i tell them to fill it up and wutever. i turn off the car but not all the way, i left my radio on. i'm listening to the cd and a couple of minutes the interior lights flashes/pulsates with the beat of the music. Thats insane!
did you guys know this or am i the guy thats a little slow?

The surge from the bass was just causing the lights to dim most likely, you may want to get your battery checked...

Might want to check the alternator as well, a battery should not drain so fast... 5 min while getting a tank of gas...

I have...it is simple...if you put something into the lighter outlet with reversed polarity (ie ground is not hooked to ground) it will lock the radio/interior lights/navigation/outlets everything ON!

it will run till you remove the device from the outlet for 1 second or more...seriously I turned off the car, removed the keys, closed and locked the door everything was still running!!!!!!

the way I found out is a crappy dvd player I hooked up to the av box for video into the nav...and I couldn't turn anything off...it freaked me out for a while then I remembered something about grounds and complex electrical systems and I pulled out the plug

Did u know that you can open/close the windows after you turned off the car. The switches continue to functions until you open the door~

Perhaps the car has an inherent dislike of Eminem and was discharging the battery on its own to stop the noise. . . :D

The door wasn't fully closed and the bass was rocking the door on the interior light switch on the forward edge of the rear door. Battery is okay....

Door switch needs adjustment....lean against them when the door is closed and the lights will come on.

Yes. Consider your 8 unique.
But really, I think GOMEZ was closer to the actual cause. Check your door switch, if that is not it take it to the dealer and demonstrate it to them if you can.

ok i know how to do it now.
first i turn the key all they way without starting it then i put my windows down and then i turn back but not all the way, just enough so that the radio is still on. and then i put up or down the window and then a few seconds later all the lights in the car come on and starts doing that beat

I am going with Gomez here. Sounds like the door is not fully closed and the beats makes the lights flash. If that's not it, then you have an interesting car.
