Wow, left over 2008 RX-8 on July 19, 2009?

Wtf were these people thinking, keeping the car a year too long? It is a grand touring, not sure the mileage on it, but sticker is in the $31s.

Now here is the fun part, what should i offer them <---thought it looks more like a huddle than a group hug

How much do you think they will sell this for?

If it is a GT, then 23k sounds good.

My RX8 was a left over from 04 and was finally brought in spring of 05.

Ah crap... I put 19k by accident... Fail.

Anyway, I'd offer them a pretty low price because the new ones are going for about 31$k and Even the R3's go for that much.

You should get a good deal. Heck, I'd try 21k for ***** and giggles and see what they counter with.

Speaking of 2008's, there's a 40AE still sitting on the lot at my local dealer. Beautiful car, I swear.

The 40th AE color has really grown on me, but this one's an automatic ...... and there's your answer.

I bought my '05 a year after it sat on the lot as well.

good job guys, the dealership is trrying to sell it for a little over 23k. I have a feeling the car will sit until october....... there is no incentive to sell that from mazda either. why would someone pay 23k for that when you can get the upgraded stuff in 09 for 26k after rebates and discounts.

good job all

The RX8's are struuuuugling to sell. They'll basically let you steal it to get it off the lot. Offer low. Thats my advice.

19 would be a pretty good steal for an 08, and not possible either!

They talked about how their 23900 is a great steal, don't care the fact that I am not going to touch it without it in the 20s or 21s. I think this one is a no go

It is, but then there's not much point in havng a sportscar for stop & go traffic.

Except perhaps for the Lexus IS-F with its 8 gears (and it's really a luxury sports coupe), a sportscar is meant to have a manual transmission. jmho of course.

I must be the rarity, because driving a stick in heavy traffic has really never bothered me at all. I'm more concerned with idiots road raging or not paying attention than I am with shifting. I do find that my bare feet fatigue pretty fast in stop-and-go though, and I'm not always in position to slip my shoes on.

Back on topic, I saw the 40AE I mentioned has been moved into the showroom now, with "Save $6500!" painted on all the windows. Ironically it's only a few feet away from the R32 that they can't sell either, which is marked down 5000$. I guarantee you they'll have to go a lot lower on both of those before they sell. Anyone who'd buy them would essentially be getting a 2-year-old used car as soon as they signed the paperwork.

So yeah, I do agree with Huey52. Sadly though when I get my Bugatti Veyron I won't have a choice. Sigh...

Its gonna be the same thing at the end of the 2009 MY. They will have to give them away to get rid of them. Im thinking Id be able to get an R3 for 23-25k.

theres actually an 2008 40th sitting on the local lot here. Has a $12,000 rebate, yet still not moving. Mind you, here in Canada, the MSRP is in around $43,000 for that model.
