If your dad owned one before than he should know that this car is out of reach for you.

Im 21, work full time and pay all my own bills. Its still a hassle even tho I downright love my car.

get a new civic ( 06+) and turbo it, or get a 350z..or an 8 with less mileage

i would not get one with that high of mileage. im 16, i picked up my 04 gt 6spd yada yada for 10k, 48,000mi

once you get the car, take care of it!! dont forget to factor in gas, oil, and other things that need to be upgraded like coils

and yes, compression testing is a very good idea

You know where I'm coming from the most out of all of these people because you're my age, and like myself, you can afford one. This GT is fully decked out and has had one owner most of the time, 53 year old male to be exact. Apparently it was well taken care of and the second owner of this car has had it for 8 months and cant keep it because of having a 3rd child. SO that's why he's offering it to me,.

good grades help alot too! speaking of school, i still wont drive mine to school. high school parking lots are scary. everyone thinks that they can drive like a pro and people dont care about others property. first time i saw someone walk by a car with their backpack zipper scratching it the whole way, i decided my car belonged safe at home

its the same with college too. I bought a cheapo Jeep Wrangler just so that I can park at school without too much brain damage. it took me 10 min to find the perfect spot to park my rx8. even so some loser put a small ding on my front left fender.

Yeah... my mom is against it, and of course im skeptical of the miles, but its not going to be driven like a commuter car, and apparently the car was babied, so Im going to order an inspection. If that clears, that im gonna go ahead and do it.

it doesnt matter if it was driven like a commuter car or being babied. the engine doesnt give a **** about how you drive it.
a simple test start it up, drive it till warm. turn it off and wait 5 min try to start it again, if it takes longer to start up, Id pass on.

I think Im going to pay the extra 800$ and get one with 79000 miles instead. I have really thought about it, and it makes alot more sense.
