I've been looking for a project RX-8 since I sold my last one 10 years ago, this just popped up on my facebook. Bonded title worries me but is it worth the buy? I have no idea what condition its in or if it might be stolen lol. The paint job looks awful. Maybe this is one of y'alls?

Automatic? ugh. Refused to start one day = could be flooded, but even if it was all good.. why bother for an auto?

 

Appears to be rust free and has a clean interior. The paint is awful and it's an automatic..those are the two drawbacks I see. It having no title concerns me. I would personally wait for a decent 6spd model with a title to pop up for sale and consider that one.

 

So you'll be shipping an unknown automatic that may or may not run from Texas to Jersey? If its a busted motor you're going to be a few thousand more into it.

Why not just buy something that is running as a project car instead?

Granted it's more.. but it has extras on it already. And it's currently running and driving. Not to mention it's also cheaper to ship a car that runs vs one that doesn't.
