Wish me luck!!!

So...I have to take my car into the dealer today because they finally got back with me regarding all the replacement parts that I put on order over a month ago (and they had the cahoonies to call me and say "your parts have now been here for over 20 days, we will be sending them back if you do not make an appointment to come in"). I never got a phone call originally to tell me that my parts were there. So anyway, I will have to leave my baby overnight, take a rental home, and hope that I get her back all in one piece with no scratches, etc tomorrow.

Here is their Honey-do list:

- Replace Center console latch
- Replace/Fix Cigarette lighter cover
- Replace cracked rear defroster light
- Get rid of CEL that has now been on for well over a month, and has been a recurring problem since I got the car. Have taken the car in for CEL now 4 times. (hopefully with newest flash)
- Change Oil
- Replace both back tailights (both have condensation in them)

Basically I will have a new car when I get it back!!!

Hey, Good Luck. With the issues you have, I would think they would be careful not to do something stupid since you are in repair mode. I wonder if any other brand of car owners are as picky as we are? I know where every tiny spot or blimish on my car is. As far as your comment "new car when I get it back!!!" goes... man, I'm over $27,000 in repairs on mine now. That my friend IS a new car!

Again, Good Luck, and I hope all will be perfect.

Wow buddy, that IS impressive since I actually paid a tiny bit less than that for my actual car.

Coop - yeah, I forgot to tell you that they finally called back, but it was not my service advisor (the one I originally called)...it was some guy in the parts department telling me I'd better get my a$$ in there and quick. Gotta love feeling threatened by a parts guy. Didn't even leave a return phone number. I am really looking forward to that phone call next week sometime asking me about how their service has been. I have LOTS to say.

Well the problem in this case had nothing to do with warranty work. Check it out if you have the stomach for it.

Good luck aggie!! What rental did you get? and what dealer? Inspect her before leaving the dealer!! Don't assume everything is done.
