Yes, the mileage will be even less than usual but the fun is still there driving it every day.
I have over 122K miles on my 8 and am beginning my 6th winter driving in the snow here in upstate NY. I have a set of all season Kumho tires on my car and they worked great last year. The tread looks OK now so I don't anticipate any problems this year.

Put my stock rims w/ blizzaks and stock bumper back on a few weeks ago, ready for the winter ahead! No depression here, except for it being dirty more often then clean... (can't wash it after everytime I drive it, but usually every weekend!)

I've been delaying the start of hibernation, hoping to get a couple more good weather days in. Snow on the ground this morning, surgery next week = insurance goes off on Monday. The only plus is it's in a heated, insulated, attached garage twenty feet from my sofa. I try to think of the season not as winter, but as 4 months of modding time.

i went to go start up my car today. It sounds good. The DSC light is flashing but i read somewhere how to fix that. I was tempted to take it out today but we might get a bit more snow. I'll wait a couple more weeks
