why don't we get . . . .

Why dont we get the headlight washers in the U.S.?

Is this some sort of road standard in other countries?
I would remove them anyway . . . but why was I not given the option?

You wanted them on the car so you could remove them?

Yes, in Canada you must have headlight washers if you have HID lights.

I can't wait to see how the petition to your government would be worded...

We the undersigned want headlight washers to be mandatory so we can remove them as a modification...

We don't need headlight washers in Canada if you have HID lights. I imported a GT from the US and did not have to install washers to pass the federal inspection. The only mod I needed to do was have DRLs.

Great for getting snow off your lights.... i wish they had a separate action rather then always going on the 5th time you wash your windows... but its cool to get washer fluid all over your new wax job.

Ja, that must be a bummer to always have them go off on the 5th time.

unless you forgot to scrape the ice off it and it gets stuck
When I brush the snow off my car, I make sure the headlight washers arent frozen shut.

They don't come on if the headlights are off, only every 5th time when the headlights are on.

Any self-respecting modern 'luxury' sports car have them. It's a nice to have.... like folding side-mirrors.

Waste of money. I always clean my headlights when I get gas anyway.

Third time for this topic in the last couple of months. There's even a current thread in the "Exterior" forum that includes it. Look up the "shark fin" thread.

True, but if you're activating the washers in the first place then your car is probably already dirty anyways from the snow/rain your attempting to get off your windshield.
