Who's 1st in US to change to snows?
Well, decided to put the snows on today. The forecast is for 40+ for the next two weeks, but up here in the frozen tundra, one unexpected cold blast from our Canadian bretheren and we have a "Winter Wonderland". I decided it would be better to perform this operation when it is 52 degrees rather than when it is 32 degrees with a 25mph wind in my face with 8" of snow predicted for the next day!
Can anyone in the lower 48 (sorry Alaskans, you don't count because you probably never take them off!!!) beat this date? BTW, leaving them on year round in the lower 48 doesn't count either.
Zoom, Zoom!

Well, I don't have a warm garage with enough room to do the change . I have to do it outside in the driveway. So, better cool than freeeeeezing!!

Hey, next spring would you be interested in attending a track day with some of the other Chicago 8 folks?

Yes, I can beat that date.
I put on my snows almost a year ago.
See, in the spring and summer I was so busy with moving that I never got around to getting the snows off for the summer.

It snowed twice last week a significant amount here in Colorado. I actually drove the 8 with my Falkens around town before it started to stick. That's why I have a 4wd vehicle, though! Need to get around to switching it to my winter tires, though. If everyone in Colorado drove on winter tires we wouldn't have so many accidents.
