Question Where is the shifting technique thread...

Not too long ago I found a thread here where somebody posted a link to a site that recommended hand placement on the shifter for efficient shifting and avoiding missed shifts. There were some nice photos (although it was from a 5-speed non-8 if I remember). I've done a buch of searches tonight, but apparently I can't find the right combination. No luck with google either. Anybody know what I'm talking about?
