When going into reverse the lights dim?
Is it just me? or maybe just my car, but the lights go a little dim or seem to almost sputter when I shift into reverse? (i have a 6mt) weak battery? or me being paranoid? thanks :D

Probably due to the white reverse lights coming on. The battery can only take so much load, so the more lights that are on, the dimmer each gets. Still, you make look into the battery/starter TSB if you don't have it yet.

I guess its normal after owning a car for a while, my daily driver would vibrate a bit (due to low idling speed) if I held the brakes when its in D. The ECU senses the engine is about to die and kick up a few hundreds of rpm and the car is ok again. Its annoying but that's life.

is this WHILE you are backing up, maby you are putting to much load on the engine at a slow speed and its lowering the engine RPM.....do you notice a lot of vibration when backing up?

I don't know about the lights, but when in reverse and the RPMs are sustained above 9,000 for anything longer than a couple miles, mine starts to shake a little....
