I am almost 99% sure I will not be buying another Mazda when I shop for a new car because Mazda does not care about power in their cars.
I foresee your next car to be something other than a Mazda.

That would be a sweet rx9. Almost too much for Mazda's "z__m z__m" advertising.

It would be 0-60 just as fast as other cars on the road, plus armchair racers could claim it handles great in the "twis___s"

Such a monster would provide unsurpassed "total driving experience", perfect "50 / 50 weight distribution", plus boast a "built from the ground up chassis" that even draws comparison to the vaunted government issue schoolbus.

If you guys petition this idea to Mazda they could possibly make it happen... The MX9, it has a catchy ring, doesnt it?

Better Quality Paintwork....meaning....thicker, and more of it, like under and around the hood, trunk, doors...more everywhere...paint that is.

Not this Water base RUBBISH they use now, may be "environmentally friendly" at the factory, BUT, I don't give a rats about that, I want paint that won't chip when you look at it, and paint so thin that a bees ***** will take it down to the black plastic bumper...great on a white car!

I know I have said it BEFORE and will keep saying it, Mazda Paintwork is MY biggest disappointment with my car.....it is CHEAP RUBBISH!!!

DID YOUR HEAR IT MAZDA!

Angry paint chip

i went to wash my 09 this morning and there is a place that looks like a flake off ,about the size of my little finger nail. on the drivers front fender. there is no sign of being hit by a rock ect, just looks like it flaked off. i also was upset when i used mazda touch up paint on a chip and it turned black when i put clear coat on it. i don't much like their paint either

I had 02 wrx and 04, 07 STIs and I thought the paint on all of them was crap. 30K on the 02 and the front end looked like it had been through a cheese grader. I put clear bra on the other 2. But it seamed the paint would not hold wax. So far I like the 09 RX8 paint a lot better. I can wax it and let it get dirty, and wash it a week later and water still beads off and still smooth.

Telescoping steering wheel. A real sun visor. A stereo that doesn't sound like someone put a potato sack over your head and then shoved your head up an elephant's ***.

Beyond that, I had no problems with the car. And I'd kill to have that digital speedo in my 3.
