What is total buyback price?

I remember the letter stating something to the effect: (disclaimer-Im paraphrasing from memory) Trade-In Overallowance was not reimbursed.

For those who have been contacted by "the outside settlement company", can you give your (if allowed) total refunded price?

Was it "Selling price of vehicle", "Net financed amount", "Selling price of vehicle less trade-in allowance +/-".......?

thanks in advance.

I'm on the fence and the monies returned will make a difference due to my complicated trade-in(s).

My advice would be to have them run the numbers for you. They seem to be pretty good with the refund and you don't lose anything by having them give you the numbers.

Mazda's repurchase offer
Purchase Price of Vichle $33239.00
Sales Tax $1003.14
License and Reg $61
Document Fees $239.00
Other Fees $199.00

Repurchase Amount Total $34,741.64

Got the email today... I sign and fax back. Then get told were to drop off and get check.

It says has legal stuff like only normal wear and tear, if more Mazda can charge or refuse the buy back.. but does not define normal wear and tear.. Also states that you must have both keys, jack, keys remotes etc.... Have all docs so Mazda can take ownership... Agree to keep insurance and reg until they repurchase etc....

I got my email on 9/22. faxed back and I heard nothing. I called yesterday 9/30 and Emma woods @ ISG returned my call and indicated it would take Mazda about 3 weeks to cut checks and overnight them to the specified dealer. I don't know which dealer yet. My buyback price included MSRP, all taxes and doc. fees, (not registration or license which is very reasonable) and the dealer installed 6 disc unit. I just did a 600 mile trip to Louisville and Indy for the F1 race and the car was fabulous except for ther continued steering problem. See my thread on serious steering/brake problem in the tech garage. Admittedly I am having some seller's remorse (don't have my check yet). I have to remind myself that I paid full sticker and I have a mechanical problem or the car's steering is just wierd while braking on irregular pavement - I made the right decision. I may very well buy another this time next year for a few hundred over invoice.
