What is this plug?

I'm guessing it's for an aux power port?

If so is there one available that will fit in the hole right?

Im thinking its to be able to slide your IPOD adapter cable through there for the OEM Radio. That way you dont have funky cable all in the open.

My 05 does not have that light, but I have seen an 07 with it.

That is where the passenger airbag light is in my 07....

Passenger airbag light on US models from '06 onward. I believe some European models used it for that earlier.

In some models I believe its an actual switch to turn the passenger airbag off.

You're going to need a pretty long power cable...

actually it will solve my cord issues. Right now my cord is a bit too short but this will give me the last few inches I need to completely hide it except for the plug.
