What plates should I get?
I want custom plates, but don't know what to pick.
These are what I had in mind:
R X ATE
ZMZMBOOM
XXX LR8
RX7ATE9

The one I really wanted, XLR8 was taken Anyone got some good ideas? Thanks.

I'm not much for custom plates, but xxx lr8 is super cheesey, I think people of the female persuasion would laugh at you. The rest are not bad. Now, there was a thread in the lounge I think about custom plates, there were lots of good suggestions in there.

I'd agree with BlueEyes. I never cared for custom plates that had the type of car being driven worked into it. It yells "I'm not creative" to me, sort of like the "MY RX8" type crap (sorry if I'm offending someone out there who has this) and sort of like my username in this forum . Go for something unrelated to the car, IMO. Something about yourself or interests are much more interesting.

i think all of those sound cheesy IMHO... get something that doesnt have to do with the car... there's already a rx8 emblem on the car... dont have to tell them again.

plus why would u put another cars name on ur license plate??? xlr 8?! leave that to the xlr drivers

I always thought my username would make a good custom plate.

Thankfully in PA, we have these:

They even have a nice triangle in them!

A fun one (if allowed) to have would be VWVWVW or MNMNMNM or 0O0O0O0O

It would confuse the hell out anyone looking it, But for the fact that cops would havea hard time reading it it's not allowed =[

I just registered my personal plates today... They will say AWFUL 1.
Named plates IMO are not cheesy, though some can be.

TERMIN8 sounds fun?

What kind of plates would be acceptable. seems like you guys have eliminated most of the ones that are running around as being cheesy.
