"Daaaay-ammmn! It's gorgeous."
Then, "I LOVE this color!" (Velocity Red)
Followed by, "Can I take it for a test drive?"
And finally, "What will you give me for that Volvo over there as a trade-in?"

I couldn't think. The butterflies all jumped up and basically left me standing there a drooling idiot. After that my first thought/impulse was to sit in the drivers seat. My heart-rate still increases when I'm about to get in and go drive.

It was one of the press vehicles that was delivered to Toronto Canada that I was going to get a ride in. I was thinking DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNN as it rolled towards us!
I don't remember what I actually said, as I'd have to check out the video for that! :D

"That's a cool car, but probably to expensive". My real surprise came when I saw the price. This is the coolest, practical, fun, and unique car I have ever owned. Great Package!!!
I ordered mine before I got to see it. When we walked out of the dealership (for the deposit) my wife asked " Did we just buy a car?"

My wife and I were SERIOUSLY considering a Z. We do a TON of car shows and travelling and we want to start a family soon.
The Z was just not practical for us and she was really excited about the 8 I however was not equally impressed by what I had seen on paper and the photos of the car. My buddy Mark "KCRX8" was one of the 1st owners here in KC. He brought the car to one of our car club's local hang outs and I was MESMORIZED.
We took it for a spin and I was hooked. Then I sat in the back seat and I could not belive that a 6' adult could actually fit in the car behind another 6' driver. We had to have this car.
We had finally found a kick *** looking car, WITH a back seat, 4drs, and to top it all off it was FAR less expensive than an equally equipped Z.
Don't get me wrong when I see a Z I still find myself asking if I made the right choice, power, looks etc.
When we first laid eyes on OUR car I couldn't believe how tight it looked in Titanium having not seen an actual car in the color we ordered. All I could say was HOLY ****!

I had been following the RX8 for such a long time, that when I finally saw it, all I could think is "This is really it". This was followed by a warming sensation that is hard to explain (no I didn't **** my self :p).

On the inside I was melting and oozing from the joy of just looking at the car, and knowing that soon enough it would be mine. On the outside I showed no emotion to the car, so I could get the best offer possible (this is one of the keys to my ability to get such a good deal) I lied and it hurt me but I told the dealer, I rather get a g35 and probably would, and I was only here to see if I could get an extra good deal.... but like I said.. on the inside it was better than sex.

Funny! That's exactly what my wife said to me when she saw it...

My heart swelled to thrice it's normal size.
Then I told the salesman - "I'm just looking - can I sit in it?"
then- I LOVE this car - but I can't afford it
Then- "OK I'll let you run some numbers but I'm not buying a new car for another year"
Then- as I'm driving it home- I can't believe it, I can't believe it , I can't believe it , I'm so happy , I'm so happy , I'm so happy!

Didn't know what it was (saw the rear 1/4 and door from the road at about midnight months ago) I was like WTF is that... so I had to look it was about 30 degrees and I was out there gawking for close to half an hour. eating 2 chalupas and 4 tacos. Accidentaly spilt pop all over the passengers window/door cause the lid wasn't on tight(lazy SOB's at taco bell!) said "oh **** time to go.... f**kin nice car though...

I was interested in the car since the RX-Evolv days. (although I hated that front end)
So when I saw it in the flesh I was like, Ok. This is it.
Not too great a reaction.
The bigger positive reaction came when I actually drove it. Then I was like
THIS IS WHAT IT"S ALL ABOUT!
:D
