Remember this well even though it was over seven years ago now.
I picked her up from Christchurch , a city 2 days drive from where I live . As we headed out of town we stopped at a store to buy some supplies . I went into the store and my sister overheard the conversation from a couple of guys sitting outside . Something along the lines of "look at that rich bastard with his flash sports car , look, the bastard even has a radar detector !" .

I decided we needed some music and picked up a compilation CD "classic hits from the 60s" .As we headed out of town "going up the country" by Canned Heat came on . The volume went way up and I all was good with the world .

You Don't Know Me - T.I.

I'll never forget it because it was my first brand new car n' I didn't have any CD's or an ipod h/u. I refused to drive off the lot without having some kind of music playing so I just flipped it to the first radio station i could think of n' turned it up. lol.

To this day I can't really say I even like much of T.I.'s music but I can say I do like that one for sure.

When I bought my white 05 I immediately put on 'Interstate Love Song' by STP.

Good days indeed.

I don't know what song I listened to when I first bought the car in 2007, but I know I was so happy when I drove it home from the dealership.
